What discounts are available to Wealthsimple clients?
Wealthsimple clients are eligible to receive discounts for their Wealthsimple Tier (i.e., Core, Premium, or Generation); pre-authorized bank (PAB); and TELUS Family Discount savings. We recommend that clients use Wealthsimple Chequing Pre-Authorized Debit as their method of payment.
Is this a 2 year contract with TELUS?
No. These are Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) plans that clients have the flexibility to change at any time.
What happens at the end of 24 months?
The Wealthsimple Tier discount is a 24 month discount. Clients will be notified by TELUS before the lapse of their 24 month discount. At that moment, clients can select a new plan with the Wealthsimple Tier discount applied. If no action is taken, the price will increase to the TELUS retail price, minus any family bundling or pre-authorized bank discounts.
What are the TELUS Family Discounts?
If 2 lines are activated, each line will receive a $7.50 CAD discount. If 3 lines are activated, each line will receive a $10.00 CAD discount. If 4 or more lines are activated, each line will receive a $15.00 CAD discount.
How do I take advantage of this offer?
The Wealthsimple offer is only available through the dedicated Wealthsimple flow and dedicated service team. This offer cannot be redeemed through TELUS stores or by calling the regular TELUS lines.
What happens when my Wealthsimple Tier changes?
When clients graduate to a better tier, they can follow the TELUS flow from Wealthsimple to change their plan, reflecting new discounts

What is the Wealthsimple Connected Device offer?
The Wealthsimple Connected Device offer is an exclusive benefit for Wealthsimple customers that provides a bill credit toward a connected device (such as a smartwatch or tablet) on your TELUS plan.
When can I claim my Connected Device offer?
You will receive an email from the TELUS team with steps to claim your credit. Please note, in order to claim your watch must first be active.
How do I get my TELUS Reward Points?
Processing times vary based on your account setup and eligibility verification. We recommend checking your TELUS Rewards account regularly for the offer to appear. The offer could take up to 90 days to appear in your account.
Where can I find my TELUS Rewards account?
Visit www.telus.com/rewards or access TELUS Rewards through the My TELUS app.
How do I add additional lines to my account?
If you have already activated your primary line, you are able to add additional lines online by going back through the TELUS journey from Wealthsimple. If you have not yet activated, you are able to place multiple orders at once.

Wealthsimple X TELUS: Marketplace Offer (the “Promotion”)
Core Clients
Service Discounts: Offer and regular pricing subject to change without notice and available only to eligible Wealthsimple Core clients who are activating a new TELUS bring your own device plan with a regular price of $65/mo and above. Offer includes a 25% discount for the first 24 months of mobility service, provided the eligibility requirements are met. Customers must be active Wealthsimple Core clients at enrollment and throughout the promotional period. Discounts may be removed upon mobility plan changes or renewals. The promotional discount applies to the base mobility plan price before any other discounts are applied. Discounts, promotions, benefits and credits are earned for each full month of service and do not apply to partial billing periods. Taxes (including applicable provincial or municipal government 911 fees) and pay-per-use charges (including long distance, roaming and additional airtime or additional data) are extra. TELUS Rewards Points: Offer subject to change without notice and available only to Wealthsimple Core clients who activate the mobility offer above. Customers will be awarded a total of up to 30,000 TELUS Rewards points over the year following their plan activation. Customers will have to activate the TELUS Rewards account via My TELUS app or My TELUS web portal within 30 days of activating service and accept the TELUS Rewards terms and conditions. Customers will have to redeem the additional points from the TELUS Rewards program. Points will be allocated incrementally to the customer's TELUS Rewards account post-purchase, provided the eligibility requirements are met. Customers will be eligible to receive 7,500 TELUS Rewards points in their TELUS Rewards account within ninety (90) days following activation of an eligible bring your own device plan(“First Award”) and would need to redeem this perk from TELUS Rewards. An additional 7,500 TELUS Rewards points will be allocated into the activating customer’s TELUS Rewards account every three (3) months after the First Award throughout the year, for a total of 30,000 TELUS Rewards points program over four (4) deposits, provided that the activating customer maintains their eligible bring your own device plan in good standing throughout the year. Activating customers who cancel or change their eligible bring your own device plan or do not maintain Wealthsimple Core client status will forfeit any remaining TELUS Rewards points through this offer. Points will not be awarded for past activations where the new line was not activated pursuant to the mobility offer above. TELUS Rewards Points are non-transferable. Eligible customers receive connected device plan service (currently starting from $15/mo) at no cost for the first 3 months, provided the eligibility requirements are met. After the promotional period, subscription auto-renews at the regular monthly rate applicable to the selected connected device plan. Must be a Canadian resident with a valid TELUS account and an eligible TELUS postpaid wireless plan. Customers must bring their own compatible device that is not currently active on another carrier's network. Eligibility may vary for customers in certain regions due to network coverage and device compatibility. All prices do not include applicable taxes. Only one connected device plan promotion can be applied per MyTELUS account during the promotional period. Offer cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or device plan offers. Device activation and account setup with TELUS is required. Discounts may be removed upon plan changes.
Generation Clients

Customers must be active Wealthsimple Generational clients at enrollment and throughout the promotional period. Discounts may be removed upon mobility plan changes or renewals. The promotional discount applies to the base mobility plan price before any other discounts are applied. Discounts, promotions, benefits and credits are earned for each full month of service and do not apply to partial billing periods. Taxes (including applicable provincial or municipal government 911 fees) and pay-per-use charges (including long distance, roaming and additional airtime or additional data) are extra.
