Crypto 30-Day Volume Based Fee Offer

We're offering reduced fees on crypto trading, which includes placing trades or swapping between crypto assets in your Crypto account ("Fee Rate") for select Wealthsimple clients ("Crypto 30-Day Volume Based Fee Offer").

Your total executed trading volume from the previous 30 days will be included to determine your Fee Rate. The trading amount from your current transaction will not be included in determining your Fee Rate. If you execute a new trade and this pushes you to the next volume threshold, your Fee Rate will upgrade immediately following the trade's execution. We'll also process rate downgrades daily if your trading volume decreases over a rolling 30 day period

Assuming your trading volume in the last 30 days is $0, and you submit your first order valued at $1,000 while the offer is active, you will pay the highest fee rate of 1.75%. However, once this order is executed, we’ll upgrade your fee rate to 1.25%. If you submit a second order, it would benefit from the upgraded 1.25% fee rate right away.

View the fees you'll pay for trades in your account

1. Log in to the Wealthsimple app
2. Tap the search tab
3. Type in the name of the crypto you'd like to buy or sell
4. Select it from the list
5. Tap Buy or Sell (if you do not see this option, tap Trade to reveal the Buy button)
6. Tap the menu in the top-right corner to choose the order type
7. Enter the quantity or dollar amount of crypto you'd like to buy
8. Tap Review

View the fees you'll pay for swaps in your account

Follow these steps to view what fees you'll pay for a crypto swap on the Wealthsimple mobile app:

1. Log in to the Wealthsimple app
2. Select your crypto account from the Home tab
3. Tap on the cryptocurrency you wish to swap
4. Tap Trade, then choose Swap as the order type
5. Choose the cryptocurrency you wish to swap with
6. Enter the quantity of the crypto you would like to swap and tap Review

Crypto 30-Day Volume Based Fee Offer (the "Offer")

This Offer is sponsored by Wealthsimple Technologies Inc. (together with its affiliates Wealthsimple").

Offer Effective Date. The Offer is effective at 12:00PM ET on the date Wealthsimple first sends the eligibility confirmation to the Clients (as defined below) regarding participation eligibility (the "Offer Effective Date").

Eligibility. To be eligible for the Offer, the person must, at the time of participation:

• be an existing or previous Wealthsimple Crypto ("Crypto") account user, with all Wealthsimple accounts in good standing;
• be a legal resident of Canada (excluding Quebec);
• be the age of majority, or older, in their province/territory of residence;
• be selected by Wealthsimple to participate in the Offer based on internal criteria; and
• meet the requirements set out below.

Qualifying Period. The qualifying period which will determine the Fee Rate (as defined below) is between the date of the Client's crypto trade or coin swap and the previous thirty (30) days (the "Qualifying Period").

Offer Details. To participate in this Offer, eligible Clients must have an active Crypto account in good standing. Eligible Clients will be charged a reduced Crypto trading fee for a crypto transaction or coin swap transaction (the "Current Transaction") based on the Client's total trading amount executed within the Qualifying Period (the "Fee Rate"). For greater certainty, only executed transactions will be included in the calculation of the Fee Rate; the trading amount in the Current Transaction will not count towards the calculation of the Fee Rate. The Fee Rates are determined as follows:

All amounts are shown in Canadian currency. Fee Rates are subject to change at Wealthsimple's sole discretion, and are only applicable to Crypto trading and swap fees made after the Offer Effective Date. For greater certainty, Crypto staking fees are excluded from this Offer. All other fees remain applicable as described in the Wealthsimple Crypto Fee Schedule ("Fee Schedule").

In the event the total amount of Crypto trading in the previous 30 days results in a higher Fee Rate than the Client's applicable trading fees in accordance with the Fee Schedule ("Ordinary Trading Fee"), the applicable Ordinary Trading Fees would be charged instead. For greater certainty, the Client will be charged the lesser of the Fee Rates or Ordinary Trading Fee.

General. Wealthsimple reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw or restrict the Offer at any time without notice. Wealthsimple is the sole arbiter of these rules and any other issue arising under the Offer. If Wealthsimple suspects fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system, inappropriate, offensive or derogatory language or information or a violation of these terms, as determined in Wealthsimple's sole and absolute discretion, Wealthsimple reserves the right to remove all promotions from the Wealthsimple account(s) and take any other action it deems appropriate including, but not limited to, closing the Wealthsimple account(s). This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, unless specified herein. An invitation to participate in this Offer does not provide assurance that you will be accepted as a customer of Wealthsimple. This Offer is only valid for individuals in the location cited above that otherwise meet our eligibility requirements.
