How to use your Canadian Lift Pass
- Reserve Your Lift Ticket Online: Book your preferred resort and date through the Canadian Lift Pass website (1-day Platinum level lift ticket).
- Pick Up Your Ticket on Day of Visit: After booking, you'll receive a barcode via email and in your Canadian Lift Pass client profile. Present this barcode at the resort's ticket redemption counter on your scheduled day.
- Cancellation and Changes: You can modify or cancel your booking up to two days before your reservation date. For example, if you have a Saturday reservation, changes must be made by Thursday at 11:59 PM. Same day cancellation is available by contacting wealthsimple@skicanada.org, some conditions apply.

Claiming your lift ticket, a step-by-step guide
1. Tap on the gift icon in the Wealthsimple app to access your rewards
(On desktop web browser, click on The Big Winter Bundle card in the sidebar of your Wealthsimple homepage)
- Select The Big Winter Bundle campaign
- Click Claim
- Select Confirm your lift ticket
2. Check your email
- You'll receive an email within a few minutes at the address associated with your Wealthsimple client profile
- Click the Activate button in the email to access the Canadian Lift Pass website with your promo code automatically filled
3. Create or log into your Canadian Lift Pass account
- Scroll to the bottom of the Canadian Lift Pass webpage
- If you're a new user, click Sign Up and create your profile
- If you already have an account, proceed to log in
4. Book your visit
- Once logged in you will land on the Wealthsimple tab
- Click Book Your Visit
- Under Select Your Product, choose Canadian Lift Pass - Platinum
- Select your preferred ski resort and date, click “OK”
- Under “Canadian Lift Pass Ticket” click Book my visit to confirm
- Click the Cart button on the top right of the page to checkout
5. Checkout
- Fill in your information and upload a clear photo of your face
- Review and agree to the exclusion of liability notice, click Next
- Fill in your billing and contact information, click Next
- Agree to the terms and conditions, click Purchase
- A pop up will open, click Continue to Payment to proceed
6. Save your barcode
- Look for a confirmation email containing your lift pass barcode
- You can also find your barcode anytime in the Bookings tab of your account
7. Get your lift pass
- On your selected date, present your barcode at the resort's lift pass redemption counter
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I claim my lift ticket in a web browser?
Yes! You can claim your lift ticket on the Wealthsimple web page in a browser, as well as in the Wealthsimple app. Once claimed, you can redeem your lift ticket on the CLP website.
On desktop web browser, click on The Big Winter Bundle card in the sidebar of your Wealthsimple homepage.
Where can I use my lift ticket?
The lift ticket is in the "Platinum" category and can be used at all participating ski areas. View the full list of locations here.
How do I change or cancel my booking?
You can modify your booking up to 2 days before scheduled day. For example: For a Saturday booking, changes must be made by Thursday at 11:59PM. To cancel:
- In your account, click on Bookings tab.
- Choose the reservation that you wish to cancel.
- Click the cancel my booking button and confirm that you want to cancel this booking.

How can I gift my ticket to someone else?
There are three ways to gift your lift ticket to someone else:
- For household members who live together, go to the "Customer Profile" tab and add an associated skier (family member) to your CLP account, then book the lift ticket on their behalf.
- To transfer a lift ticket to a friend or family member who does not live with you:
- In your CLP account, click on Products.
- Click the “send to a friend button.” for the product you wish to transfer.
- Add your friend's email and click on the Send button.
- To cancel this send: click on the subheading Sent products in Products, find the email you would like to cancel and click cancel.
- Provide your claimed code to any other person who can enter it at the dedicated Canadian Lift Pass Webpage.

How do I redeem multiple tickets?
- Claim each ticket separately in-app through the gift icon in the Wealthsimple app to access your rewards
- You can then either:
- Go to the Wealthsimple tab on the Canadian Lift Pass website and manually input your codes.
- Or, click "Activate" in each email and follow the redemption process outlined above for each ticket.

Can I book a same-day lift ticket?
Yes, most resorts accept same-day bookings. Exceptions: Mount St. Louis Moonstone require 24-hour advance booking
Can I use my ticket for the 2025/2026 season?
No, tickets from this promotion must be used during the 2024/2025 ski season. Please note individual ski areas may close early due to snow conditions. Lift tickets cannot be credited or transferred to the following season.
When I redeem my Platinum Ticket at a ski area, how long is it good for?
A Canadian Lift Pass is equivalent to a Regular Adult 1-Day (or night) Lift Ticket at that participating ski area. It can be used until the 2024/2025 ski season is over. Tickets expire May 31st
How long will the code remain active?
Codes can be used for the 2024/2025 ski season. Codes will expire on May 31 2025. They cannot be credited or transferred to the following season.
Are there any restrictions to which days I can ski?
Generally, A Canadian Lift Pass is equivalent to a Regular Adult 1-Day (or night) Lift Ticket at that participating ski area. Some resorts have "Blackout Days" on Family Day week, February 15–21, 2025. You can find details about these blackout dates under the Participating Resorts tab before making a purchase.
My profile image won’t upload
- Please make sure your photo clearly shows your face, as ski areas will use it to verify your identity.
- Skier profile images must be no larger than 3MB. If your image exceeds this size, you can reduce it by using an online image compressor or taking a screenshot of the image on your device, which often creates a smaller file.
