Wealthsimple Premium 30-day Trial (the “Trial”)
This Trial is sponsored by Wealthsimple Technologies Inc. (together with its affiliates “Wealthsimple”).
Trial Period. The Trial will commence on the date the Client (as defined below) registers for the Trial and will last for 30 days (the “Trial Period”).
Eligibility. To be eligible for the Trial, the person must:
- be a new or existing Wealthsimple Core (“Core”) client, with all Wealthsimple accounts in good standing at the time of participation;
- be a legal resident of Canada;
- be the age of majority, or older, in their province/territory of residence at the time of participation;
- be the original recipient of the invitation for this Trial; and
- meet the requirements set out below.

Qualifying Action. To participate in the Trial, eligible Clients must register for the Trial. Upon completing the Qualifying Action, eligible Clients will be able to enjoy benefits available to Wealthsimple Premium (“Premium”) clients during the Trial Period. Limit one (1) Trial per Client.
Fees and Cancellation. After the Trial Period, all Premium benefits will be reverted back to Core benefits if the Client does not have the minimum total assets required to reach Premium status.
In the event the Client signed up for a Wealthsimple USD Account (“USD Account”) during the Trial Period, the Client will have thirty (30) days after the end of the Trial Period to perform one (1) of the followings: (a) set up payment method to re-subscribe and continue to use the USD Account; (b) reach the minimum asset requirement for Premium status to continue to use the USD Account without monthly payment; or (c) cancel the USD Account subscription by reaching out to Wealthsimple’s Client Success team.
Should a Client wishes to set up the payment method to re-subscribe to the USD Account, the Client will be charged CAD$10 per month commencing thirty (30) days after the re-subscription.
Should a Client wishes to cancel the USD Account, any open orders will be cancelled and all remaining balance in the USD Account will be transferred to the Client’s CAD account. Miscellaneous. Unless the Client reaches the minimum total assets necessary to become a Premium client during the Trial Period, the Client will be deemed a Core client on all other Wealthsimple promotions in which the benefits, rewards, or bonuses are dependent on a Client’s tier status.
Release. By participating in the Trial, Client assumes all risk of injury, illness, disease, death, or any other damage which may arise in connection with their participation in the Trial. Without limiting the foregoing, client hereby: (a) forever releases and discharges Wealthsimple and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related and associated entities and employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and administrators of each (collectively, the “Releasees”), from and against any and all claims, actions, costs, liabilities, judgments, damages, obligations, losses, penalties, and expenses of any kind or nature whatsoever (including legal fees) (collectively, the “Claims”) in any way arising directly or indirectly out of any injury, loss, or damage that Client may suffer as a result of, or in connection with the participation in the Trial or any Trial-related activity; and (b) indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all damages, loss and expenses, including legal fees, which may be suffered directly or indirectly by reason of the Client’s own negligence or willful misconduct during or in connection with the participation in the Trial.
General. Wealthsimple reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw or restrict the Trial at any time without notice. Wealthsimple is the sole arbiter of these rules and any other issue arising under the Trial. If Wealthsimple suspects fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system, inappropriate, offensive or derogatory language or information or a violation of these terms, Wealthsimple reserves the right to remove the Trial from the Client’s Wealthsimple account(s) and take any other action it deems appropriate including, but not limited to, closing the Wealthsimple account(s). This Trial is only valid for individuals in the location cited above that otherwise meet our eligibility requirements. Our standard terms (https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/legal/terms) relating to your use of Wealthsimple and any agreements that apply to your Wealthsimple account(s) each apply and are not affected in any way by this Trial.
